This procedure is done to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoids of these flowers. Instead of drying in an oven or in the open air, the plant is frozen. A vacuum is then used to evaporate the frozen water, thus separating the dry matter.

This technique maintains the potency and flavour of the CBD Watermelon flower, and reduces the probability of mildew or other bacteria.
