La Mataro Blue of Kannabia Seeds is the most difficult genotype of the whole catalog. It is a 3-way crossing that features the best of several predominantly indica strains. Among them one of the most Indica varieties we have, the Blueberry which is very productive and keeps all the properties for which this variety is known (low-hight, fast flowering and blue tones).
Another component of the Mataro Blue is the original Afghan (Mazar-i-Sharif), which has a very good resin production and a generous harvest. The last component of this cocktail is our Indica Black Domina, which gives it a more branched structure. Yet this cannabis plant forms a thick central compact bud full of resin.
It accepts large amounts of fertilizers and it is resitent to drought periods which makes it ideal for growing outdoors. For indoor crops we recommend using many watts (800 W/m2) and 2 weeks of a vegetative cycle. In hydroponics crops the Mataro Blue can offer you impressive results. When subjected to low temperatures the plant turns purple blue color. The smell of Mataro Blue is very deep, with a hint of bitter orange.
The effect of this cannabis is fast and deep, it will make you feel like you are floting and then suddenly it will stick back hard. Very high levels of THC, produces a very powerful hashish if extracted with ice.
